Dove Creek, CO is a major bean producing community selling about 200,000 hundred weight annually, and the “Pinto Bean Capital of the World” ! Adobe Milling Co, High Country Elevators, and Midland Bean Co all package beans for sale. Pinto beans from Dove Creek are prized for their light color and exceptional flavor.  100’s of pounds of Anasazi, pinto and old Indian varieties such as Zuni Gold Beans are offered for sale at the Dove Creek Superette.
