Our solar powered REcycled Bubble Tower was a hit  with the 1500 Pueblo County area  students attending  the Southeast Colorado Children’s Water Festival at the Colorado State University Pueblo campus .

The festival featured dozens of stations dedicated to water quality, safety and responsibility.  Our Bubble Tower was the center of attraction during the student’s lunch break and presented an opportunity for them to experience the opportunities presented by a solar powered attraction made from reclaimed and repurposed materials.

Sited next to the CSU campus fountain, high on a berm, the Bubble Tower caught the mostly gentle breeze to great effect.

[box type=”info” size=”large” style=”rounded”]The REcycled Bubble Tower features half of our COW Bubble Tower, made from a  discarded vinyl billboard, and half of our COFFEE Bubble Tower, made from dozens of coffee bean bags from around the world.   Bright patches from discarded banquet table cloths add additional texture and color[/box]

One lad, exhausted from chasing bubbles up and down the berm, exclaimed: “I’m tired, but I want more bubbles!”

Pouncing on bubbles!

Pouncing on bubbles!

–  The Pueblo Chieftain photographer loved the opportunity as well

–  For the teachers, I offered a handout of water use trivia , detailing the amount of water required to produce various food items.

I am so grateful that we could be a part of this great event.  THANK YOU Southeast Colorado Children’s Water Festival !
